The company is headquartered in Cary, NC, with offices in Montreal and Tel Aviv.
We are looking for an individual who is recognized as a PeriGen clinical application subject matter expert with in-depth functional and clinical workflow knowledge. This role will be located in our US headquarters office in Cary, NC or remotely in the United States.
In this role, you will:
- Leads the clinical assessment, workflow configuration, user testing, training and end user support for implementations and upgrades of PeriGen’s obstetric products and services for clients.
- Acts as a liaison and consensus-builder for broad, multidisciplinary groups which may include hospital administrators and leadership, clinicians, ancillary personnel, and information technology analysts.
- Clearly communicates and translates information and concepts between and across the different groups to influence outcomes.
- Collaborates with the Clinical Education Informatics Specialist in development of client training programs. Plans, delivers and manages client training programs.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of obstetric clinical practices and procedures, quality and performance improvement initiatives and metrics, regulations, and operations that may impact the implementation of PeriGen’s software.
- Maintains a knowledge base of standards for electronic fetal monitoring and electronic medical record documentation and promotes new technology to support obstetric patient care needs.
- May support broader sales and educational outreach efforts, through attendance at tradeshows and conferences, participation in client education meetings and webinars, and membership in professional organizations.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with employees, clients, and all community and business contacts.

- Must be able to travel to customer sites, sometimes on short notice, utilizing major means of general public transportation, including airlines, trains, and cars. Must be able to travel approximately 75% of the time, including trips to areas in different time zones.
We’re looking for a collaborative professional with:
- BSN required, MSN or MS in Nursing Informatics preferred.
- Active RN licensure
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in obstetric patient care.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in configuring and implementing EMRs, fetal monitoring systems, or similar hospital-based systems.
- Prior experience as part of a matrixed project and client team preferred.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Demonstrate critical thinking aptitude, including the ability to analyze complex clinical software systems and workflows; must be knowledgeable in understanding and troubleshooting of software logic.
- Working knowledge of redesigning clinical processes to improve efficiency and patient care, preferably in conjunction with the implementation of a clinical information system.
- Possess excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with ability to initiate insightful and interactive dialogue to obtain in-depth nursing and physician feedback for product and service improvement opportunities.
- Advocate, participate, and collaborate with interdisciplinary internal PeriGen teams to define client solutions; enjoys “rolling up the sleeves” and providing hands-on contributions.
- Capable of independent decision-making to meet the needs of the position, yet willing and able to collaborate with other team members to manage a project to defined standards and performance metrics.
- Ability to anticipate problems, identify potential solutions, communicate the options and implement the recommended solution.
- Strong customer service orientation, interacting with both internal and external customers.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.

- Proficient and skilled in 1) MS Office Suite including (but not limited to) Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook email and calendar management, 2) Virtual video meeting platforms: including (but not limited to) Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
