JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management– Strong project management skills are needed to effectively manage our podcast for physicians from the topic ideation phase through production, editing and publishing. Effectively manage freelance copywriters and designers to create print or electronic materials for our target audience of primary care providers to ensure the final product meets project objectives and is delivered on time and within budget.
- Process Improvement – Participate in improving organizational and departmental performance through recommending areas or approaches for improvement activities, performing new procedures, collecting data and providing input to department discussions. Anticipate and actively identify and recommend areas for process/system improvement. May work with appropriate personnel to implement agreed upon changes.
- Communication – Effectively demonstrate communication skills related to conveying relevant information when developing content for primary care physicians and patients and families. Develop and maintain efficient internal communication processes to support the activities of the department. Openly communicate across many departments regarding physical and/or material resources. Assemble and distribute material for project communications as necessary.
- Relationship Building – Maintain/manage strong working relationships with internal and external physicians and clinical staff, colleagues, and other key stakeholders. Respond to requests quickly and effectively. Identify and understand user needs and expectations and meets them. Communicate any relevant information to physicians/clinical staff, colleagues, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaboration – Collaborates with others to implement and evaluate departmental or organization wide project plans. Accurately report tasks and status to manager. Work with functional lead to monitor and document information related to the project. Assist in defining and reporting measurements and outcomes. May assist with facilitating teams assigned to the project.
- Issue Resolution – Identify and understand business issues, physician/clinical staff needs, trends, and root cause. Utilize recognized models to diagnosis, select, design, develop and/or evaluate appropriate interventions. Manage complex issues, provide resolutions and make critical decisions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline (preferably marketing or communications background)
