Welcome!

When I started looking specifically for HEDIS nurse abstraction jobs that offered greater flexibility, I noticed major gaps in available information about these roles and other remote nursing positions. There were also very few resources on how to get hired.
After successfully landing the *perfect* job for my needs, it became my calling to connect the dots for others who needed help finding balance during a specific season of their life.

🎯 Applying for remote nursing jobs? Here’s a tip to save you time (and frustration):
Your clinical nursing experience IS valuable, BUT it’s not enough to land a remote nursing jobs AND it won’t be enough to get past the ATS.
Your resume needs to speak the language recruiters are looking for. That means including the right keywords and phrases from the job description to showcase your transferable skills.
Wondering how to find those keywords?
You can pick them out manually, but this is hard when you aren’t familiar with the process. Or you could use an ATS scanner to quickly identify the terms and phrases you should be including in your resume!

“Just stick it out, it’ll get better” ⏬
I used to believe that too.
Nurses are known for being loyal, to our patients, our teams, and our hospital. But sometimes that loyalty isn’t reciprocated and it’s time to move on. Or maybe your season of life has changed and it’s time to move on.
I see it ALL. THE. TIME.
Nurses want better hours, better pay, better work-life balance, so they tell themselves they’ll hang in there and wait for things to improve.
→ You keep picking up extra shifts to “help the unit,”, and they tell you they’ll hire more help soon but don’t.
→ You stay in the same unit, thinking loyalty will lead to career growth and higher pay.
→ Others convince you that you’re “lucky” to have a job at all, so you don’t even look for other options.
But months (or years) later, nothing changes.
So many people discouraged me when I wanted to do travel nursing after just two years…
➡️ “You’re not experienced enough.”
Discouraged me when I wanted to go to grad school for informatics…
➡️ “You’re wasting your clinical skills.”
Discouraged me when I wanted to work remotely in revenue integrity…
➡️ “You’re wasting your grad degree.”
If I had listened to all the negative talk, I would still be stuck! This advice is them projecting THEIR fears about change onto me.
The biggest career shifts happen when we’re willing to embrace discomfort and bet on ourselves. 💜
What’s a piece of career advice you ignored at first but later realized was right?
Drop it below, I’d love to hear!💬

I hate to break it to you, but your years of bedside nursing experience alone won’t land you a remote job.
A lot of nurses think landing a remote role is as simple as:
→ Listing all their bedside experience on their resume
→ Applying to every remote job they can find
→ Hoping for the best
But here’s the truth: if that’s been your approach, it’s probably why you’re still stuck.
One of our members found herself in this exact spot. She had a great resume packed with bedside experience and thought she knew exactly what roles to target. But after a few interviews, she realized something wasn’t clicking.
The problem? Remote nursing roles require more than just bedside experience. Employers want to see how your skills translate into areas like coding, auditing, or case management.
On a tight timeline, she made a big pivot. With the help of our premium membership, she:
→ Got personalized feedback to tailor her resume for remote roles
→ Connected with a recruiter for an auditing job that aligned with her new goals
→ Landed the job she didn’t even know she wanted, in just weeks!
✨ If you’re tired of applying without results, it’s time to rethink your strategy.

I hate to break it to you.
Using LinkedIn or Indeed to find remote nursing jobs might seem like the smartest move - but it’s probably what’s keeping you stuck.
People often tell me:
→ “I tried searching LinkedIn for remote jobs, but I don’t even know what titles to look for.”
→ “Aren’t these the best platforms for finding jobs?”
→ “I can probably just search for ‘nurse’ or ‘remote nursing’ and find everything I need.”
→ “How do I find remote jobs that will accept my license?”
Here’s the thing:
I’ve been using LinkedIn and Indeed for years, and while they CAN work, they require a lot of search know-how:
How to vet the jobs for scams.
How to identify true entry-level roles.
How to interpret job descriptions quickly.
How to find jobs for specific state licenses.
If you’re a nurse juggling applications, tailoring resumes, and figuring out what the heck ATS software is, you already have enough on your plate! You don’t need to waste time scrolling through irrelevant or outdated postings.
That’s why I created this Job Board - a curated list of high-quality, legitimate remote nursing & biotech roles that you can filter by specialty, license, and even entry-level opportunities.

So you keep getting that auto rejection email after applying for remote nursing jobs?
Here’s what to do →
People often think landing a remote nursing job is all about having experience or total years of nursing experience. While that can help, even experienced nurses get rejected! And it’s likely because the resume got rejected before a recruiter ever saw it.
So let’s break it down.
If you want to get your resume in front of a hiring manager, you need to make sure your resume is optimized for remote roles.
Here’s how to do it:
→ Use the right keywords – Pull them directly from the job description that aligns with your skills. ATS scans for exact matches.
→ Format for ATS – Avoid columns, tables, fancy fonts, or images that ATS can’t read.
→ List measurable results – Instead of “assisted with patient discharges,” say “Coordinated discharge planning for 5+ patients per shift, collaborating with social workers and providers to reduce readmission rates by 20%.”
→ Save as a Word doc or PDF – Some ATS systems process .docx or PDFs differently (when in doubt, use a .docx file)

Let me guess...
You’ve been submitting endless applications and hearing nothing back. 😩
Here’s the thing: do you reach out directly to the recruiter after applying?
👀 It sounds like one of those “too good to be true” hacks, right?
But it’s actually the hack no one thinks works - until it does.
Here’s how to make it happen:
✅ Step 1: Search for the companies hiring for remote nurse roles.
✅ Step 2: Go to the People tab on LinkedIn.
✅ Step 3: Type in “talent” or “recruiter.” You can also search for a manager title above the role you are interested in.
✅ Step 4: Send a personalized connection request (no boring copy-paste messages!).
💡 What to say in your LinkedIn message:
👉 Introduce yourself and mention the job you’re interested in.
👉 Highlight a key skill or experience you bring to the role.
👉 End with a call to action: “I’d love to connect and learn more about this opportunity!”
BUT... here’s the SECRET that takes it a step further:
💥 Finding their email address and sending a direct email.
Why?
📩 Emails that land directly in their inbox help you stand out from the crowd.
And that’s exactly what I help nurses do inside my membership.
✅ Teach you how to find recruiter contact info.
✅ Give you email scripts that are proven to get responses.
✅ Help you stand out from the hundreds of applications.
STOP waiting around for a callback. START the conversation instead.
Drop a 🔥 if you’re ready to try this on your next job search!
💬And if you need help learning how to do this, comment NETWORK to learn more about the premium membership!

I see it ALL. THE. TIME.
Nurses who want a remote job spend hours applying.
→ Tweaking resumes.
→ Submitting applications every day.
→ Checking the inbox constantly, waiting for a response.
✅ Check, check, check. You’re doing everything “right”… so why aren’t you hearing back?
Then, after dozens of applications, you get an auto-rejection or, worse, complete silence. What gives?!
The thing is, applying this way CAN work… but only if your strategy is solid.
🚨 If your resume isn’t ATS-friendly, you’re getting rejected before a human ever sees it.
🚨 If you’re applying too late, the job already has enough applicants.
🚨 If your resumes aren’t tailored, they’re getting lost in the pile.
So if you’re stuck in a cycle of no responses, auto-rejections, or interviews that go nowhere… that’s probably why.
The good news? You can fix this.
Inside the Premium Membership, I break down exactly how to troubleshoot what’s keeping you stuck and fix it so you start landing interviews.
