Meet Andrea, Expert Remote Nurse Connector
Welcome!
Remote Nurse Connection is here to change the way nurses like you find remote work. Because searching for a new job shouldn’t feel like adding another full-time job to your schedule when you’re already burned out.
I know how challenging it can be to balance work and family life, especially for nurses who are parents, caregivers, and travelers. I was a critical care travel nurse for years before making the switch to remote nursing. It’s been a game-changer for me!
When I started looking specifically for HEDIS nurse abstraction jobs that offered greater flexibility, I noticed major gaps in available information about these roles and other remote nursing positions. There were also very few resources on how to get hired.
After successfully landing the *perfect* job for my needs, it became my calling to connect the dots for others who needed help finding balance during a specific season of their life.
Remote Nurse Connection was created to give you the opportunities, mindset, tools, and community you need to achieve the work/life balance you deserve.
Take a look at all that’s offered here and know that I’m rooting for your success!
Cheers,
Andrea

It’s competitive out there. You could be doing everything right and still not get an interview. The market is tough…Way more than most nurses realize!
You’re tailoring your resume and applying to remote jobs, but rejection emails keep coming. Some of these postings get 400+ applicants in first 24 hours.
Using AI for your resume to get past the ATS is only one helpful step. The recruiter reading your resume next needs to see that you actually understand the role and aren’t just another bedside nurse rage-applying to anything that says “remote.”
Most nurses get stuck because they don’t know which job titles to target, what those roles actually do, or how to stop wasting time applying to the wrong remote jobs.

Listen up, y’all.
I don’t have to tell you that using specific numbers and metrics is KEY when it comes to making your resume stand out.
But if every time you try to think of those details - like percentages or measurable results - you want to throw your hands up and forget the whole thing…you’re not alone. Nurses have enough to juggle without tracking numbers during every shift!
The thing is, when it comes to delivering excellent care, collaborating with your team, and improving patient outcomes, you’ve already got it DOWN.
You’re already playing a huge role in quality improvement projects, like reducing central line infections on your unit.
You mentor new nurses and help them transition to confident, independent practice.
And you work closely with case managers to create discharge plans that lower readmission rates.
So…why are you still struggling to showcase those wins in a way that makes your resume pop?
Here’s the truth: your work is already being tracked somewhere - you just need to ask for it, and your performance reviews are an easy place to start! Whether it’s infection rates, retention percentages, or patient satisfaction scores, those numbers can set your resume apart.
And even if you can’t find the exact stats, you can still use action words like “increased,” “decreased,” or “improved” to highlight your impact—way more effective than simply listing duties.
So here’s your starting point:
1️⃣ Ask your manager for feedback and metrics from your review. [SAVE it]
2️⃣ Write down examples of your work, using specifics wherever possible. [Use a Google Sheet tracker]
3️⃣ Keep your resume updated as you go - you’re doing incredible work, and it deserves to shine!
You’ve got this! ✨
