Position Summary Details
The Clinical Implementation Consultant is responsible for leading all clinical components of assigned client implementation projects including prescriptive workflow design, system build and configuration recommendations, and training super users and end users. This position requires the ability to learn new technologies quickly in a dynamic environment. Adult learning techniques are utilized to ensure proper training and adoption of XSOLIS product offerings and to assess clinical implementation and training needs and effectiveness. This role requires excellent communication and facilitation skills, an executive presence, and a track record of delivering results. The successful candidate must be a disciplined self-starter as well as a positive team player.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Analyzes client processes across a system or individual facility and develops strategies for the client to utilize XSOLIS technology with prescriptive workflows.
  • Explains workflow and technology to diverse customers at various levels (physicians, directors, nurses, and support staff).
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to champion XSOLIS throughout the organization including Director, VP, and C-Suite level.
  • Establishes a cadence and leads clinical meetings with clients to drive clinical system build efficiently and effectively within project timelines.
  • Delivers product demonstrations across all solutions with the ability to articulate the value-add features and functionality.
  • Introduces clients to analytical reporting including concepts of various data models and probabilities, predicted DRGs, GMLOS, and LOS predictions.
  • Designs training approaches and develops training scripts, class outlines, and learning objectives independently based on workflows.
  • Conducts formal training classes to users through lecture and hands-on for all XSOLIS products educating users on software utilization to make clinical assessments on patients using product knowledge and terminology.
  • Provides end-user support onsite or remote.
  • Conducts new user assessments and evaluates knowledge retention during go live support to assure a high degree of user competency and software adoption with XSOLIS products.
  • Maintains subject matter expertise with software solutions, company policies, site procedures and systems and clinical management processes.
  • Masters new software solutions to develop prescriptive workflow strategies and delivers training on such solutions to new and migrating clients.
  • Provides subject matter expertise as needed for various projects and initiatives.
  • Manages timelines and mitigates project risks.
  • Assigned to implementation projects of varying complexity, typically single facilities, small multi-facility systems, add on facilities, and payer connections.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Education:
    • Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) from an accredited school of nursing. Other degrees and/or certifications considered in lieu of a nursing degree.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years’ professional experience
    • 3+ years’ experience in Case Management and Utilization Review preferably in a leadership role.
    • 2+ years’ experience training clinicians
  • Skills:
    • Preferably in a west coast time zone.
    • Strong knowledge of Medicare rules and regulatory standards.
    • Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret and explain data trends and reports
    • Knowledge of adult learning principles and theories.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Executive level interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated professionalism, both in appearance and conduct.
    • Conscientious with issues related to security and privacy.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with general computer hardware and healthcare software.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • ACM or CCM preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong planning/organizing skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Comfortability with aggressive timelines and a fast-paced environment.
    • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not have any direct reports and is a single contributor role.

Working Environment and Travel Requirements
  • Work is typically in a normal office administrative environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks.
  • Position requires little to moderate physical activity. Mostly sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. No significant stooping is usually required.
