Position Summary Details

Nurse Optimization Consultants will align with the Client Success team to create a business and clinical operations. This structure will benefit our customers in a proactive relationship that promotes revenue retention, clinical excellence, growth, and customer satisfaction across the customer’s engagement with XSOLIS.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborate with implementation team to receive an in-depth handoff to promote seamless transition.
  • Collaborate with Client Success to align business and clinical structure provided to customer.
  • Assess and monitor current workflow to ensure hardwiring of processes established during implementation that align with agreed upon goals/metrics and ROI opportunities.
  • Assessment/monitoring of metrics (KPI, LOS, Denials) to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and ensuring processes are in place to identify negative trends. Recommend solutions that remediate any negative trends.
  • Auditing to identify opportunities to enhance/change workflow to meet agreed upon goals and metrics
  • Attend clinical rounds.
  • Routinely monitor Cortex work queue dashboard to determine appropriate utilization for red accounts, pilot accounts, and hypercare accounts
  • Weekly meeting with AM to strategize and develop aligned action plans for red accounts, pilot accounts, and hypercare accounts.
  • Identify and introduce ad hoc reports when appropriate for success.
  • Collaborate with Client Success and clinically lead all QBR meetings.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

Education:

  • Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred; Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Nursing required

Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 3 years’ experience in Case Management and Utilization Review, preferably in a hospital setting
  • ACM or CCM preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare rules and regulatory standards

Other:

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Executive level interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of technology/software implementation and customer support
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced, rapidly growing company
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Attention detail, strong sense of professionalism and strong work ethic
  • Must be able to travel 25 – 35% of the time

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not have any direct reports and is a single contributor role.

Working Environment And Travel Requirements

  • Work is typically in a normal office administrative environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks.
  • Position requires little to moderate physical activity. Mostly sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. No significant stooping is usually required.
