The CV Abstraction Team Supervisor will serve as an advisor and resource to CV Quality Data Abstraction Specialist (QDAS) team and will direct and provide leadership in data collection and data analysis for the CV data registries. The supervisor will also ensure that outcome data and PI metrics/updates are communicated to all stakeholders.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Supervise direct reports and manage the performance of individuals through ongoing coaching, feedback, and development to motivate, engage and drive a high performing team.
  • Leadership role in implementing: orientation, process changes, long and short-range goals and objectives for team workflow.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators and evaluate operational performance.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement action plans across the system to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Effective collaboration to drive outcomes. Generate reports, analyze trends, and present findings to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with registry data integrity.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs, monitor metrics, and initiate quality improvement initiatives to enhance quality and patient safety.
  • Lead and facilitate, and or participate in cross-functional teams focused upon the implementation of quality improvement initiatives designed to improve patient care and safety.
  • Consult on the redesign of systems and processes.

Qualifications

  • Required Bachelor’s Degree Nursing
  • Preferred Master’s Degree Nursing / Health Care Related
  • 5 years Clinical experience Required
  • 10+ years Clinical experience Preferred
  • 1 year Experience in quality improvement and data analysis in hospital setting Required
  • 1 year Leadership experience Preferred
  • Registered Nurse (RN) – State Licensing Board
  • TRAVEL IS REQUIRED:
