Virtual Maternal/Infant Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner

We are looking for someone to join the BabyLiveAdvice team with expertise in maternal/infant care. The right candidate will be able to plan, implement and evaluate mothers and babies from preconception to 12 months of age. They will provide mothers and their families with education that aligns with age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

This candidate will work with the team to maintain high standards through education and virtual care. The Maternal/Infant Registered Nurse/NP role includes education and virtual consultation. The Maternal/Infant Registered Nurse/NP is involved in indirect practice activities with the goal of improving the quality of care across the continuum of care.

This position is fully remote based in the United States. Schedules are flexible, but we are seeking a minimum of 15 hours/week with weekend and evening availability. Weekdays evening (5pm-11pm PST), weekends Sat/Sunday and holiday coverage ONLY.

Providers are paid per visit/per class/on-call rate.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of (3) years of experience in OB/GYN, Labor and Delivery, Perinatal or Mother/Baby
  • BSN or higher degree (no new grads), with certification and current licensing
  • IBCLC certification and Perinatal Mental Health certification required
  • Must be highly experienced with Zoom video calls
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Master’s Degree/NP preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams
  • Knowledgeable of health technologies and comfort with computers and video modalities
  • Maintains current knowledge base with national best practices
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintains membership in National Professional Organizations is preferred
