The role you’ll contribute:
The Clinical Call Center Triage Nurse will serve as a key point of contact for patients, providing expert nursing care over the phone. This role is responsible for assessing patient symptoms, determining the urgency of care needed, and guiding patients through next steps, whether that involves scheduling appointments, providing home care advice, or recommending emergency care. The nurse will work closely with the care team, ensuring seamless coordination and communication, all while delivering compassionate and patient-centered care. He/She will work in compliance with AdventHealth’ s policies and those of all local, state, federal agencies, and applicable accrediting bodies.

· Assesses patient symptoms via phone, utilizing clinical protocols to determine the appropriate course of action.
· Follows established nursing protocols and guidelines for triage to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
· Acts as an advocate for patients, addressing their needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
· Provides guidance and education on common health concerns and home care advice.
· Facilitates referrals and appointment scheduling to ensure continuity of care.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· Associate degree – Required
· Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement – Required
· Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
· 2-3 Years OBGYN or Labor & Delivery Experience – Required
