JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Nursing students to assist advising with Summer 2026 New Student Orientation and Spend a Summer Day.
Job Duties
- As our Summer Student Ambassador, you will share your Penn State Nursing Student experience with incoming and prospective first-year students and their families, assist students with scheduling classes and other first-year student activities, and assist in Sim Lab presentations during Spend a Summer Day. Preference will be given to students who can work in-person at University Park but Zoom work may also be possible. We anticipate about holding15 NSO and 5 SASD sessions.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
