Responsibilities
Lead data analysis teams by writing advanced SQL queries and developing functional reporting design documents to support complex organizational projects.
Identify key data trends and implement integrated system projects across multiple technical platforms to drive operational improvements and efficiencies.
Map existing business processes and functions to recommend strategic changes that align with integrated systems and departmental goals.
Direct the reconciliation of clinical documentation, surgical logs, and nursing records to ensure the accurate assignment of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes.
Support the maintenance of charge capture activities and CDM workflows while mentoring junior analysts to ensure data quality and management consistency.
Requirements
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s
degree/Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific
experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
- 3-5+ years of work within revenue integrity, revenue cycle operations, revenue cycle informatics, surgical nursing, or hospital coding preferred.
