The Anticoagulation Registered Nurse renders care remotely to CentraCare anticoagulation patients. They work as a valuable member of the interprofessional patient care team, making independent and dependent decisions under the direction of a provider. 

The Anticoagulation Registered Nurse has mastered technical skill and uses evidence-based interventions in providing age-appropriate care to patients and families. The Anticoagulation Registered Nurse collaborates with other health care team members when the need for assistance is identified. 

 

Schedule:

  • Casual | Minimum of 2 shifts per month | Mostly remote
  • Day shift | 8am-5pm
  • No weekends or holidays

 

Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting pay begins at $33.98 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
    • Pay range:  $33.98 – $50.96 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree required, bachelor’s preferred from an accredited school of nursing
  • 1 year of prior nursing experience required
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Current licensure in the State of Minnesota required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card per established policy
  • 1 year of Anticoagulation dosing and monitoring experience preferred
  • Possess the ability to understand patients’ medical records, physicians’ orders and medication orders to be communicated to patients and hospital staff
  • Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess effective communication between colleagues, patients, and providers
