Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Expert, Care Team Operations | Remote

Medix is hiring on behalf of an innovative healthcare organization that’s redefining care coordination and clinical operations through technology-enabled solutions. We’re seeking an experienced RN to join the team as a Clinical Expert, Care Team Operations.
In this role, you’ll apply your clinical expertise to support patient care initiatives, operational excellence, quality improvement, and cross-functional collaboration while helping build scalable healthcare solutions that improve outcomes for patients nationwide.
Key Details
- Fully Remote (U.S.)
- Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST
- $48–$65/hour
- Start Date: Late August/Early September (Potential for additional flexibility)
- Company-issued equipment provided
- Indefinite contract opportunity
Responsibilities
- Apply clinical judgment to care coordination, utilization review, documentation validation, and appeals support
- Review complex clinical cases while ensuring quality, compliance, and operational excellence
- Develop clinical workflows, SOPs, educational resources, and quality standards
- Mentor clinical team members and support ongoing training initiatives
- Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Technology teams to optimize healthcare workflows
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance scalability, efficiency, and patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- BSN required
- 2–5+ years of experience in care management, case management, utilization management, population health, clinical operations, or managed care
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in an evolving, fast-paced remote environment
Equipment Policy
Company-issued equipment will be provided.
To receive company equipment, a temporary refundable equipment deposit applies:
- $50 per week deducted for the first 10 weeks
- Total refundable deposit: $500
- Fully refunded after equipment return or conversion to permanent employment
This is not an upfront payment.
