Support healthcare improvement efforts across the Southeast as part of a national quality improvement program focused on making care safer and improving outcomes for patients.  Health Quality Innovators (HQI) is seeking a Project Coordinator with strong project management, communication and organizational skills to support hospitals, nursing homes and clinicians participating in the CMS-funded Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) Program.

This position offers you the opportunity to contribute to meaningful healthcare improvement initiatives across a multi-state region. As Project Coordinator, you will source stories, content and resources for three monthly newsletters, coordinating with our internal communications team and quality improvement consultants; plan and support virtual learning events; manage informational resources and educational content for project participants; ensure timely, consistent communication to participants and stakeholders; and coordinate and contribute to funder reports.

This remote position offers job flexibility, professional growth and the opportunity to serve an important role in supporting a program that helps healthcare providers improve care for patients and communities across the Southeast.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health care field or related area required. One to three years of health care operations, communications or quality improvement experience preferred.
  • Project management experience, including the ability to coordinate work of others.
  • Ability to interpret data, such as performance on benchmarking measures, and provide guidance on identifying and prioritizing opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to build consultative relationships with internal teams and/or external stakeholders. Experience coordinating training sessions and researching evidence-based practices.
  • Must be able to function effectively as a member of a remote team, manage multiple priorities, and be comfortable using good judgment to keep work moving in the absence of complete information.
  • Proficient in Office 365 and adept with time management.
  • Limited (<10%) travel may be required including travel to Richmond, Virginia for an annual all-company meeting.
