We are hiring a Register Nurse (RN) to join the Integration team to assist with the launch of new START locations in the US and around the globe. This role will work closely alongside our operations teams, project managers and central service departments during the lead up to each new location launch. The Integration RN will use a deep knowledge of company SOPs and industry standards to assist with the development and training of clinical workflows and the organization of the site equipment and technology in order to maintain consistent high quality patient care and safety. The Integration RN is a key member of a closely aligned clinical team focused on building and maintaining the workflows and standards we use across the company and at each new site.
This is a remote role. The annual base salary for this role is $90,000 – $110,000. However, base pay may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist with the establishment and launch of clinical operations for each new early-phase clinical Oncology research location.
- Conduct comprehensive training for clinical staff, focusing on SOPs, safety, and quality protocols.
- Monitor clinical processes to ensure compliance with SOPs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to clinical staff, serving as a clinical resource.
- Collaborate with leadership and multidisciplinary teams to ensure operational readiness and adherence to project timelines.
- Document integration milestones, challenges, and recommendations to optimize future location launches.
- Travel to new and existing START locations to shadow, train and implement process.
- Other duties may be assigned at any time to meet organizational needs.
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with significant experience.
- Certifications: Active RN license in the United States.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinical setting related to oncology, infusion, or research.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Certifications: Certification in Oncology Nursing (ONS) or relevant clinical specialty (preferred).
- Experience: Experience as a clinical educator or clinical trainer, with a strong background in clinical research or infusion services. Experience as a project manager, project lead or change champion.
Physical and Travel Requirements:
- Required to travel up to 50% of the year, including travel to new clinic locations across the US.
- Exposure to clinical environments, including areas where protective precautions are necessary.
- Physical Demands:
- Sitting: Frequent, for administrative and training duties.
- Standing: Frequent, during training and setup activities.
- Bending: Occasional, for equipment setup or patient care simulations.
- Lifting: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally, for handling supplies and equipment.
