CDI Nurse Manager, Full-time

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CDI Nurse Manager to lead the Clinical Documentation Integrity program across our Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic. This position is responsible for improving the quality and completeness of clinical documentation to support accurate coding, compliance, and quality reporting. The CDI Nurse Manager will collaborate closely with providers, coders, and clinical staff to ensure documentation accurately reflects patient acuity and care provided. Strong clinical expertise, leadership, and knowledge of rural healthcare regulations are essential.
Compensation Dependent on Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Information Managment, Health Informatics, or a related field required.
Licensure/Certification:
Current RN license from the Oregon State Board of Nursing preferred. Certification in Health Informatics such as CAHMS, CPMIMS, or clinical informatic certification preferred. EHR vendor-specific certification(s) preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting. 2+ years of experience in health informatics, data analytics or clinical systems management preferred. Experience in a Critical Access Hospital. rural health or outpatient clinic preferred. Experience with EHR implementation, optimization, and data reporting.
Skills/Knowledge:
Strong understanding of clinical workflows, data quality, and healthcare regulatory requirements. Proficiency with electronic health record systems (preferably Cerner/Oracle). Ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare data standards (e.g. HL7, SNOMED, etc.).
