Please Note: This specific posting is for a senior-level role on the Indian Health Services Health IT Modernization Project
As a member of the Federal practice, the Clinical Adoption Specialist III will work on an implementation of Oracle Health Millennium and related technologies for a federal government client and:
- Supports clinical adoption and specific tasks in one or more clinical solution
- Is responsible for helping run programs that drive adoption of new technologies
- Works with stakeholders to properly align technology with desired business outcomes
- Supports the adoption of new/modified EHR and related systems
- Performs change management to support end users
- Assesses the current system and adjusts using the stop-start-continue method to adopt new roles into the system
- Prepares users for transitions to new technologies
- May supervise others
Key Responsibilities
In addition to the functions listed above, this role will have the following key responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:
- Provide insight and consultation in team discussions regarding design, build, testing, training, implementation, and support of respective solution area(s)
- Execute successful implementation of design decisions, tailoring applications to meet departmental/organizational requirements and expectations
- Manage and complete the development of testing scenarios that correlate with client approved workflows and design
Requirements:
Required Skills and Experience
- Oracle Health (Cerner) experience required – specific expertise with Oracle HDI and related population health solutions is required
- 8 years of related experience required
- Bachelor’s degree required (or 12+ years of related experience can be substituted for a degree) – clinical degree (RN, PA etc.) is a plus
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance of at least a public trust
- Ability to tailor communication of complex technical matters for diverse levels of proficiency, positively influence mutually beneficial decisions, as well as build and maintain successful working relationships
- Strong work ethic and high degree of professionalism, able to adapt quickly to changes in the work environment and to alter approach or method to successfully lead change, reacting well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting customer service commitments and project timelines
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience presenting to large groups or key stakeholders preferred
- Federal government experience preferred

- Works remotely with approximately 25-50% travel required
- Salary at S&P is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $145,000 – $165,000 (annualized USD). This represents the estimated salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Additionally, S&P’s total compensation package also includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401K, holidays, and paid time off.
