CLINICAL ENGAGEMENT ASSOCIATE (FULL TIME OR PART-TIME HOURS WILL BE CONSIDERED)

The Clinical Engagement Associate supports the research and review of clinical evidence to identify relevant oncological content for codification in our platform and ensure that existing content is accurately maintained. They will also contribute towards the development of communication materials and tools to support our clients in better understanding clinical content. Our ideal candidate will have a strong commitment towards clinical excellence, and a keen attention to detail. They will also have demonstratable experience in maintaining clinical content for an oncology practice and of building content into software platforms that support oncology care delivery.


Responsibilities

Reporting directly our leader of Clinical Engagement, the Clinical Engagement Associate will have the following job responsibilities (not limited to but primary accountability for):


  • Research Clinical Evidence (Guidelines, Publications, Policies) to identify relevant oncology diagnostic, treatment, supportive care, palliative care content to support codification in VieCure’s platform
  • Support and maintain clinical content (diagnostic, treatment, survivorship plans, toxicity management rules, precision medicine rules) for use by VieCure’s clients
  • Support development of communications tools focused on VieCure’s clinical content to facilitate client education
  • Support client launch of clinical content validation and deployment
  • Some travel required (onsite meetings with clients to facilitate uptake of VieCure’s clinical content), includes collaboration with VieCure’s Client Services Division, implementation team

QUALIFICATIONS,

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, Bachelor’s degree and Pharmacy Tech, PharmD or Registered Nurse


Skills, Competencies & Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in a professional oncology position (e.g., oncology nurse, pharmacy), nursing or pharmacy leadership experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills coupled with high social intelligence.
  • Disciplined attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to convey complex concepts to multiple audiences, adapting the style and approach accordingly.

  • Demonstrated track record in supporting the identification and maintenance of clinical content for an oncology practice (preferably a network).
  • Demonstrated experience building content into software platforms that support oncology care delivery (e.g., EHRs).
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting platforms with clinical decision support algorithms
  • Capability to use Microsoft software applications: MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical skills coupled with logical thinking and disciplined task execution skills.
