We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Remote Part-Time Clinical Nurse to join our growing team!
In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating and overseeing patient care related to home infusion therapy.
Location: Remote- occasional travel may be required
Schedule: This is a part-time, remote position averaging 20 hours per week, ideally structured as 5 hours per day, Monday through Thursday.
Our preference is for a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule to maintain continuity of care and communication. However, we recognize that qualified candidates may need some flexibility. We’re open to discussing alternative arrangements, provided they align with the responsibilities of the role and ensure dependable coverage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Clinical Nurse will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of care provided to consumers. This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive nursing assessments, addressing nursing needs, and supporting various projects within the nursing department. The Clinical Nurse will work collaboratively with the clinical team and the Director of Nursing to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Consumer Assessments:
o Assist with new consumer assessments to gather comprehensive health data and identify care needs.
o Conduct ongoing assessments for current consumers to evaluate health conditions and nursing needs.
Address Nursing Needs:
o Collaborate with the clinical team to address specific nursing needs, ensuring timely interventions and care adjustments for consumers.
Project Support:
o Assist the Director of Nursing with various projects, including quality improvement initiatives, policy updates, and education programs.
Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, interventions, and care plans.
o Provide regular reports to the Director of Nursing on assessment outcomes and nursing needs.
Team Collaboration:
o Foster a collaborative environment within the nursing team and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
o Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving nursing practices and consumer care.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Compact State RN licensure strongly preferred
- Infusion nursing experience preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stability and the ability to get along with coworkers are essential functions of the job, without which an employee is not qualified.
