OpenLoop is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our Quality Team! The Clinical Quality RN will work in close collaboration with our Clinical Quality Director to ensure consistent care across the organization; including overseeing all quality initiatives encompassing the unique requirements of each of our clinical programs. This role will also be pivotal in monitoring and analyzing both provider and patient satisfaction. The Clinical Quality RN will contribute to ensuring that all clinicians consistently adhere to established standards of care utilizing satisfaction data to identify areas for improvement.

About the Position

The Clinical Quality RN will serve as a vital liaison between the organization and its clients, effectively addressing provider-related concerns and patient complaints in a timely and professional manner. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to ensure positive outcomes and maintain strong, collaborative relationships.

This position will also have the opportunity to greatly enhance OpenLoop’s capacity to proactively identify and address quality concerns, ensure regulatory compliance, improve patient safety, and support continuous quality improvement across all programs.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates closely with the Clinical Quality Director to provide essential support in key areas.
  • Conducts in-depth Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) of submitted incident reports, employing a meticulous and systematic approach to identify underlying factors.
  • Develops actionable improvement strategies based on RCA findings.
  • Provides targeted outreach to providers, focusing on education and feedback.
  • Tracks individual provider quality metrics to support performance improvement initiatives.
  • Conducts RN ticket reviews (typically 2 tickets per RN per month to start) utilizing tool and metrics.
  • Provides RN feedback and education.
  • Assists Director in developing educational activities surrounding issues related to quality.
  • Assists the Director in overseeing all quality initiatives to ensure consistent high-quality care across the organization’s diverse programs.
  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of all program operations and their unique requirements.
  • Conducts regular audits to verify clinical compliance with established treatment protocols.
  • Monitors adherence to service level agreements to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Monitors and analyzes both provider and patient satisfaction data to identify areas for improvement in care delivery.
  • Contributes to ensuring consistent adherence to established standards of care among all clinicians.
  • Assists in overseeing and developing a robust system for tracking laboratory results and other critical clinical elements, tailored to the specific needs of each program.
  • Collaborates with program leadership to define essential data points and establish efficient tracking mechanisms.
  • Serves as a vital liaison between the company and clients, effectively addressing provider-related concerns and patient complaints regarding providers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Utilizes strong communication and problem-solving skills to ensure positive resolutions and maintain strong client relationships


Requirements:

  • Must have Active and Unencumbered compact licensure with the eligibility to obtain 50 state licensure. This license MUST be reflected on a current CV or provided upon application to be considered.
  • Must live in the state in which the compact was granted to be considered.
  • Associate degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) strongly preferred.
  • At least 5+ years of clinical experience in settings such as telemedicine, acute care, or case management, with at least 2+ years of quality assurance and compliance experience.
  • Highly tech-savvy with a proven skill set to navigate multiple complex systems simultaneously. Preference for experience with Google Suite, Slack and iOS.
  • Demonstrated ability to swiftly learn and utilize new software and operating systems.
  • Above average proficiency in using telecommunication technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent skills in troubleshooting technical concerns and guiding others on use of technology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and stakeholders
