About the job

Company overview:

DermaSensor Inc. is a fast-growing, Miami-based medical device company focused on empowering healthcare professionals with clinically proven solutions to efficiently detect skin cancer using the latest advancements in medical-grade technology. Our flagship product, the FDA-cleared DermaSensor™ medical device, is a cost-effective handheld solution that combines artificial intelligence and spectroscopy to assess suspicious skin lesions for skin cancer risk in just seconds. By enabling real-time and accurate assessments, DermaSensor aims to dramatically improve early detection rates, increase accessibility to vital healthcare, and ultimately save lives. Join us as we reshape the future of healthcare with groundbreaking technology designed to make a lasting impact on patient care and outcomes.

About the role:

The Clinical Solution Specialist will play a key role in accelerating the adoption and utilization of the DermaSensor solution by providing clinical education and best-practice solution design for primary care practices (private, hospital-affiliated, value-based, concierge) and with select specialty care practices (dermatology). The Clinical Solution Specialist will join a recently formed Customer Success team that works primarily in partnership with sales, account management and medical affairs to compress sales cycles and to deliver exceptional clinical value for customers during the implementation and expansion phases.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a cutting-edge company at the intersection of AI and medical device innovation. If you are driven by making an impact and delivering an exceptional provider and patient experience that advances the standard of care, we encourage you to apply and become an integral team member in making skin cancer detection simple and scalable.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the clinical lead for client implementations by defining use cases, designing best-practice solutions, establishing success metrics, supporting clinical workflow/protocol development, and growing clinical use of the DermaSensor solution.
  • Educate customers on the DermaSensor solution, its capabilities, and clinical evidence to optimize adoption and ongoing utilization.
  • Apply deep product and clinical knowledge in each customer interaction to earn the position of ‘trusted advisor’ and to accelerate sales and implementation cycles.
  • Coordinate with customer success colleagues as well as with cross-functional DermaSensor team members in sales, medical affairs, product, operations, customer support, and executive management to ensure successful client implementations and full-scale utilization.
  • Contribute clinical expertise to enhance the DermaSensor solution offering, product roadmap capabilities, and customer value propositions.
  • Build relationships with customer stakeholders and clinical leadership to strengthen our company’s position.
  • Solicit voice of customer feedback and capture provider-patient success stories that can be documented to further differentiate our solution and to enable best practice sharing.
  • Develop implementation guides, clinical briefs, video tutorials, and how-to ‘blueprints’, in partnership with marketing and medical affairs, to assist customers in scaling use of the DermaSensor solution.

What we are looking for:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
  • 5+ years of professional work experience in a healthcare clinical or hospital setting
  • 2+ years of professional work in a medical device and services company or in a clinical consulting role with a healthcare company
  • Dermatology, oncology, or skin cancer experience preferred
  • Experience working in and contributing to the growth of early-stage companies
  • Demonstrated strong organization, time management, and project management skills
  • Understanding of FDA-regulated devices, HIPAA, and compliance
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, in both pre-sales and post-sales processes and engagements
