Job Overview
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner with experience or strong interest in gastroenterology to provide virtual, patient-centered care focused on gut health and digestive disorders. This role is telehealth-only, allowing you to deliver high-quality GI care from anywhere in New York.
You will manage patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions using evidence-based medicine, lifestyle interventions, and longitudinal care — without procedures or in-person visits.
Duties
- Conduct virtual consultations for patients with GI and gut-health concerns
- Diagnose and manage common gastrointestinal conditions, including: IBS, functional GI disorders, GERD, dyspepsia, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, SIBO, food intolerances and IBD (stable patients, co-managed as appropriate)
- Order and interpret labs, stool studies, and imaging
- Develop personalized treatment plans including medications, diet, and lifestyle recommendations
- Provide patient education and ongoing follow-up via telehealth
- Document care clearly and efficiently in the EMR
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists and care team as needed
Requirements
- Active New York State NP license (required)
- Board certified NP (FNP or AGNP preferred)
- GI experience strongly preferred (GI practice, IBD clinic, or related specialty)
- Telehealth experience a plus
- Comfortable managing patients independently within scope
- Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach

Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 25.0 per week
