Compensation :
Pay Range: $67,070 – $108,990.00/year

Duties:
To function as a capable specialist for analysis, design and implementation to influence appropriate change utilizing technology resources within the healthcare work environment. Through clinical and technical experience, to develop greater awareness of the relationship between clinical practice and clinical applications. To perform various duties in the system life cycle to support the successful implementation of healthcare technologies that achieve customer goals. To commit to fostering an environment of heightened security, following Information Technology Security Policies and participating in security training, such as Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), on an annual basis.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and four (4) years of experience in direct patient care and four (4) years electronic medical record experience. One (1) year work experience with UAB preferred. Cerner applications experience preferred. Master’s degree preferred. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
