RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Specific Competencies:
- Receive and process all incoming refill requests for the Centralized Medication Management Office in an efficient, standardized and accurate manner as indicated by protocols.
- Oversee processing of drug prior authorization requests working in conjunction with the Medication Management Intake Coordinator.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, proper telephone etiquette and exemplary customer service with each encounter for both internal and external customers.
- Conducts all activities with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality, complies with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures, supporting JCMG’s corporate integrity efforts by acting in an ethical and appropriate manner.
- Participates in cooperation with manager to develop and maintain current protocols, policies and procedures. Assists in data collection and reporting, staff development, and other assigned duties related to supervision of staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year in an ambulatory care setting
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Experience with electronic health records
- Knowledge of insurance and drug authorization procedures
Certification/License:
- State of Missouri LPN License
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong team building and collaborative skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills, effective communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of office equipment and computers
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications, database management and document preparation
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Heated and air-conditioned environment with multiple other staff members, includes constant phone and computer interaction as well as contact with patients and internal and external health care personnel.
