Position Summary

The Subject Matter Expert, Nursing Curriculum will develop content and provide feedback on nursing education products that align with learning objectives in distance education instruction by incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies, and other industry trends reflecting advancements in the discipline.

Essential Function and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates within the Curriculum Function to develop and refine course content for Practical Nursing (PN), License Practical Nurse to Associate Degree Nursing (LPN to ADN), Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN), and Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN).

Houly rate for this role is $50 an hour.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Earned Graduate degree with a major in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Active, unencumbered RN or APRN license from state of residence.
  • Minimum of five years of nursing curriculum development or nursing education delivery experience at an institution of higher education.
  • Minimum of five years of nursing clinical experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory and adult education.
  • Mastery in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), and other technology platforms related to the delivery of online nursing education.
