Your role
Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Your day-to-day expectations
- Provide services via the Televero Telehealth platform, both live and offline
- Maintain a high quality of care consistent with the practice’s goals
- When not treating patients, assisting with, but not limited to, developing our behavioral health practice to include protocol development, training, and engaging in clinical behavioral health discussions with prospective clients
- Prescribe medications and close out medication tickets in a timely manner
- Take notes and assign billing codes within the EMR, including no-shows
- Closeout documentation within twenty-four hours of the patient encounter
- Review and interpret any patient assessments that we use in the practice
- Attend monthly peer, supervisory, and educational meetings
Your workday
This position is 100% virtual.
We are open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm EST, Monday through Sunday.
This position is part-time from 16 up to 32 hours of patient time per week.
We will work with you to ensure a flexible schedule.
This role reports to Televero’s Director of Nursing and a Pod Leader (Supervisory MD).
Experience to thrive
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related field.
- Completion of CCNE-accredited Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specialization.
- Active PMHNP License in Florida or Texas or Washington.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Two or more years of Telehealth experience.
- Two or more years of Outpatient experience.
- Two or more years of Prescribing experience.
- Experience treating pediatric patients is preferred.
