Location: Remote (Must have CO/Colardo state license)
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM MST
About the Role
We’re seeking a licensed clinical professional to manage Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder authorizations. This role ensures timely processing, applies medical necessity criteria, and collaborates with leadership and providers to support members’ care needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process behavioral health/substance use authorizations
- Apply medical necessity criteria and escalate cases as needed
- Coordinate care and address barriers for members
- Communicate determinations and draft denial letters
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Active Colorado license: LAC, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or RN
- 4+ years behavioral health experience
- Familiarity with MS Office and community resources
- Preferred: Utilization Management experience
