Pay range for this position is $34.25 – $51.13/hour. This position also includes a $4.00/hr shift differential and a stackable $3.25/hr weekend differential. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The eICU center Registered Nurse is a member of a collaborative team who is responsible for providing continuous vigilance and tele-nursing to a diverse population of critically ill adults across multiple ICUs at various hospitals. Provides proactive, continuous monitoring, prevention, early intervention and ongoing care with the goal of decreasing ICU related morbidity and mortality. Utilizes evidenced based care and clinical decision support to guide practice. Acts as a patient advocate and resource to inpatient nursing staff.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Hight School/GED
- Active RN License in the state of IL
- Experience:. Three years of recent experience as a staff nurse in adult critical care. One to two years of past experience in a role which required effective communication and collaboration with medical/health care professionals
- Licensure/ Certification: Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Provider. Certification or completion within 90 days of hire
- OtherSkills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Proficiency with Windows based computer applications
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Experience: Five years of recent experience as a staff nurse in the specialty field of adult critical care
- Licensure/ Certification: Current CCRN or CCRNe certification
