Overview
The Hospice Triage RN is responsible for evaluating and determining patient and family needs based on phone calls received or made.
Following on site orientation and training, this will be a remote position.
- Part Time, every other weekend and two Evening shifts during the week with a Holiday rotation

Our Hospice Triage RN’s :
- The Hospice Triage RN is responsible for evaluating and determining patient and family needs based on phone calls received or made.
- Responsible for triaging patients to the appropriate level of care with the appropriate level of urgency
- Provide assessment, scheduling, clinical guidance, and other clinical services to patients.
- Prioritizes safety, quality, and experience that coincides with the mission of Good Shepard Hospice.
- Understands the needs of patients and offers recommendations, education, or care advice to triage patients and schedule them with the appropriate level of care.
- The Triage Nurse will assign nursing visits accordingly.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Current and unrestricted New York State RN License
Salary Range
USD $45.00 – USD $60.00 /Hr.
