Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, tech-savvy RN to join our team as a Remote Patient

Onboarding Specialist. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients enrolled in a virtual pulmonary rehabilitation program. You’ll guide patients through the technical setup of their rehab tablet and assist them in completing a brief onboarding video call that collects essential baseline health data.

This is a flexible, remote position ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable using video call platforms and basic tech troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact new patients assigned daily and schedule onboarding calls at mutually convenient times.
  • Walk patients through unboxing and setting up their rehab tablet, including connecting to Wi-Fi and charging the device.
  • Assist patients in joining their initial onboarding video call via the tablet.
  • Guide patients through a short physical activity (e.g., marching in place for 2 minutes) while the tablet collects vital signs (heart rate, respiratory rate, etc.).
  • Ensure successful completion and recording of clinical onboarding data for provider review.
  • Document call outcomes: completed, partial, or incomplete, and report issues as needed.

Required:

  • Strong verbal communication skills; comfortable speaking with patients of varying tech abilities.
  • Must have multi-state compact RN license in state that you reside
  • Basic technical proficiency, especially with video calls, tablets, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet environment for making calls.
  • Experience working with elderly or chronically ill patients.
  • Professional Liability Insurance

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Fully remote, flexible hours – schedule calls based on patient availability and your own.
  • Daily patient lists provided; average call duration 20-30 minutes when assisting them with wifi setup/troubleshooting
  • All onboarding interactions are conducted via phone and video call.
