The Oncology Triage Registered Nurse (RN) provides centralized, remote clinical triage support for all PCI clinics. This role applies oncology nursing knowledge and evidence-based triage protocols to assess patient-reported symptoms and concerns via telephone and other approved remote communication channels, determine urgency, provide self-care and symptom-management guidance, and coordinate timely escalation to the appropriate provider and care team. The Oncology Triage RN documents assessments and interventions in the electronic health record, supports continuity of care across multiple sites, and promotes safe, efficient access to oncology services.

Required qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school and
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or in Lieu of BSN: Associate’s degree in Nursing AND 4 years’ experience as a registered nurse
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire or
- National Registered Nurse Compact License upon hire or
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
- License in states wherever care is delivered
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), or other national infusion certification upon hire or
- 5 years of Oncology nursing experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of Triage experience
- 2 years of Ambulatory nursing experience.
