What We Need:

The Clinical Quality Team Lead will report directly to the Director, Quality Management. This role is responsible for leading quality initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within the clinical and operational teams. The Clinical Quality Team Lead will play a key role in enhancing patient safety, optimizing quality processes, and fostering a culture of excellence in durable medical equipment (DMEPOS) services.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the execution of quality assurance programs for DMEPOS services, ensuring compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, BOC, ACHC, and other industry standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and quality assessments to monitor adherence to policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop corrective action plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements.
  • Assist in maintaining company policies and procedures, ensuring timely updates and annual reviews.
  • Support investigations, root cause analyses, and risk mitigation related to grievances, patient safety, and quality of care.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of quality measures and clinical outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on best practices, clinical protocols, and patient care standards to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on quality improvement strategies, compliance, and patient safety initiatives.
  • Act as a resource for staff regarding quality-related processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality issues and enhance patient care effectiveness.
  • Supervise and mentor quality team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Align team objectives with organizational priorities and oversee performance management processes.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement to maintain a high-performance culture.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions and performance evaluations to enhance individual and team productivity.

What You Have:

  • Licensed healthcare professional (RN, LPN, RRT, CRT, or other clinical certifications) required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Studies, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare, DMEPOS, or medical device environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality management, auditing, or compliance within a healthcare, DMEPOS, or medical device setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of DMEPOS regulations and industry standards, including CMS guidelines, FDA regulations, ACHC, BOC, and ISO certifications.
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS), auditing software, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to learn department-specific software systems.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in quality documentation and reporting.
