Job Title: Triage Nurse (RN) – OBGYN

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $38.00 – $43.00 per hour


Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Triage Nurse (RN) to join our OBGYN team. This is a primarily administrative nursing role with limited direct patient care, focused on providing high-quality telephonic triage and patient support.

In this role, you will manage a high-volume triage call line, assess patient symptoms, and coordinate care using clinical judgment and established protocols.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a busy triage call line and respond to incoming patient calls
  • Assess and triage patient symptoms, providing appropriate education and care guidance
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in EPIC
  • Schedule in-office appointments as needed
  • Advise patients on when to seek emergency or urgent care services
  • Follow up with patients to monitor progress and outcomes
  • Escalate clinical concerns to providers when appropriate
  • Communicate with providers via EMR messaging systems
  • Process prescription refill requests
  • Administer injections as needed


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active Maryland RN License
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in:
  • Labor & Delivery, OR
  • Mother-Baby unit in a hospital setting, OR
  • Outpatient OBGYN support


Work Environment

  • Primarily administrative role with ~95% of work conducted via phone and EMR
  • Limited direct patient care outside of injections
