About the job
Who We Are
Tuesday Health is a value-based palliative care provider group dedicated to transforming serious illness and end-of-life care. We deliver goal-centered care focused on alleviating physical symptoms and emotional stress for individuals and their caregivers. Our interdisciplinary care teams reduce avoidable hospitalizations and improve quality of life wherever individuals call home. Through our leading-edge care model, Tuesday Health is shaping the future of community-based palliative care nationwide.
The Role
The Vice President of Clinical Operations is a highly motivated, experienced leader and a key member of our team. Reporting to the President and Chief Operating Officer, the VP leads a team of market and clinical operations directors and oversees execution of the clinical model.
The VP is accountable for operational performance across all customer markets, owning the KPIs and metrics that define clinical, quality, financial, and member satisfaction results, tracking them continuously, and intervening where performance is off target. The VP sets the operating cadence that keeps the organization on plan: prioritizing the initiatives that will most improve results, sequencing them against capacity, and driving execution and follow-through to completion. The role is also accountable for contractual compliance and leads the launch of clinical operations in new markets as they are added.
Critically, the VP is accountable for driving execution at scale through translating strategy into a repeatable operating model that holds up as volume, markets, and customers multiply, and ensuring the same standard of execution across markets. The VP owns the development of operational workflows, policies, and procedures that enable consistent, high-quality care delivery at scale. The VP also informs and owns execution of key product enhancements that support operational excellence, serving as the voice of operations in product prioritization and ensuring new capabilities are adopted effectively in the field.
The VP champions Tuesday Health’s values while driving operational excellence across markets. They are a culture-carrier for the organization, ensuring clinical teams feel connected to one another and to the broad company. As new markets come online, the VP builds deliberate communication practices that keep growth from diluting the sense of shared purpose and team cohesion.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and brings the experience to build and scale clinical operations as the company expands into new markets. They are comfortable with ambiguity, lead with a hands-on style, and balance operational rigor with the agility a growing organization demands.
